The motorized gear uses 1 "AA" size battery as power source.

Through the gear speed reduction assembly, this single power source is efficiently powered up to drive most setups in the Creative Gears series, demonstrating the mechanics of gear trains with funs and actions.

The motorized gear contains a 3 way ON/OFF switch:

- The neutral position (0) turns off the motorized gear.

- Push the switch forward to position (1) to turn ON the motorized gear and rotate it COUNTERCLOCKWISE.

- Push the switch backward to position (2) to turn ON the motorized gear and rotate it CLOCKWISE.
